Cookie Policy
Last Updated: October 3, 2026 · Propeter
This policy explains how propeter.com uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They let the website remember your actions and preferences over a period of time. Similar technologies include web beacons (tracking pixels), local storage and session storage. For simplicity, this policy refers to all of them as "cookies".
2. Cookies Used on propeter.com Today
The propeter.com marketing website does not currently set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not load third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Pages are served without cookies. Calculator inputs are kept in the page while you use it and are not stored after you leave.
The Propeter platform used by hotel customers sets strictly necessary session and security cookies after sign-in. Those cookies are required for the platform to work and are covered by your agreement with Propeter.
3. Categories We May Use in Future
If we introduce further cookies, they will fall into these categories:
- Strictly necessary: essential to the operation of the website or platform. No consent required.
- Functional: remember your preferences, such as language or currency. Can be disabled.
- Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the site. Require consent from EU/UK visitors.
- Marketing: used to measure advertising campaigns. Require consent from EU/UK visitors.
Before any analytics or marketing cookie is introduced we will update this policy with a full cookie list (name, provider, purpose and expiry) and, where required, ask for your consent first.
4. How to Manage Cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all provide cookie controls). Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the Propeter platform sign-in from working.
5. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- EU / UK (GDPR): withdraw consent, request deletion of data collected via cookies, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
- India (DPDP Act 2023): withdraw consent at any time. We will stop processing within 30 days of withdrawal.
- California (CCPA): opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal data.
- Australia (Privacy Act 1988): request access to or correction of personal information held about you.
To exercise any right, contact privacy@propeter.com.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because the website does not use tracking cookies, no tracking takes place whether or not the signal is sent.
7. Changes and Contact
We will update this policy, and the "Last Updated" date above, whenever the cookies we use change. Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@propeter.com. See also our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
