Propeter + Cloudbeds Integration Guide
Welcome to the official integration and setup guide for connecting Cloudbeds PMS with Propeter Revenue Engine.
Propeter is an autonomous AI-driven Revenue Management System (RMS) and dynamic pricing platform. By connecting your Cloudbeds account to Propeter, you can automatically ingest real-time booking pace, analyze market demand, forecast optimal nightly rates 365 days in advance, and publish live rate updates directly back to your Cloudbeds rate calendar.
1. How to Sign Up for Propeter
If you are new to Propeter and do not yet have an active account:
- Visit propeter.com and click Get Started or Request Demo.
- Complete the onboarding request form with your contact details, company/hotel name, and business email.
- Our team will provision your organization account and provide your administrator login credentials for the Propeter Admin Portal (https://app.propeter.com).
2. Specific Functionality of the Integration
Propeter connects directly to Cloudbeds via official REST APIs to synchronize data in both directions:
Data Ingested from Cloudbeds (Ingress)
- Properties & Room Types: Imports hotel details, room categories, total room capacities, and base rates.
- Rate Plans & Rates: Retrieves active rate plans, public base rates, and daily rate grids.
- Live Inventory & Availability: Synchronizes day-by-day room availability and occupied room counts.
- Reservations & Pickup: Continuously pulls new, modified, and cancelled reservations with stay dates, room types, and booking totals to calculate pace and pickup velocity.
- Occupancy & Performance Data: Ingests historical and forward-looking occupancy metrics to calculate RevPAR, ADR, and demand elasticity.
Data Pushed to Cloudbeds (Egress)
- Automated Rate Updates: Calculates optimized daily selling rates and pushes them directly into your Cloudbeds rate plans via the Cloudbeds
putRateendpoint. - Minimum Length of Stay (minLOS): Dispatches automated minimum stay restrictions alongside daily rates to optimize peak demand dates.
Multi-Property & Group Account Support
- Cloudbeds Group Accounts are fully supported: Multi-property hospitality groups can connect via their group-level organization credentials. Propeter automatically discovers and maps all properties in the group, allowing centralized revenue management across your entire portfolio.

4. What Are the Limitations of the Integration?
To keep integration scopes minimal, secure, and focused strictly on revenue optimization:
- Folio & Financial Posting: Propeter does not process guest folio charges, add line items to bills, or handle payment gateway transactions in Cloudbeds.
- Housekeeping & Operational Statuses: Propeter does not modify room cleaning statuses, maintenance blocks, or staff assignments.
- Manual Rate Overrides: If you prefer to manually control rates for high-profile dates (e.g., special events), you can set rate floors/ceilings or lock specific dates in Propeter so automated pricing does not overwrite your manual entries.
5. How to Disconnect the Apps
You can disconnect the integration at any time from either Cloudbeds or the Propeter portal.
Disconnecting from the Cloudbeds Side
- Log in to your Cloudbeds PMS account.
- Click on the Account menu (top right) and select Apps & Marketplace.
- Select the Connected Apps tab.
- Locate Propeter and click Disconnect (or Manage > Revoke Access).
- Confirm the disconnection when prompted.
- Once disconnected, Cloudbeds immediately revokes all API tokens and terminates communication. Propeter will no longer receive updates or push rates.
Disconnecting from the Propeter Side
- Log in to the Propeter Admin Portal.
- Navigate to Settings > Integrations / PMS Adapters.
- Find your Cloudbeds Adapter and click Deactivate / Delete.
- Once deleted, Propeter stops all background polling, data ingestion, and rate publishing immediately. Any rates already published to Cloudbeds will remain in place.
6. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

A: Yes. Propeter automatically detects and respects the native currency configured on your Cloudbeds property profile.
